HOW DO YOU USE YOUR IPOD-A RESPONSE

Below The Beltway asks a question floating around in the blogosphere about the use of ipods. The question is: How do you use your ipod? It goes like this:

I have a question for all the iPod owners out there: Would you say that you mostly select specific songs (or albums or playlists) to listen to, or do you mostly set it on shuffle and let the iPod do the work?

Kevin Drum originally presented this question. My answer, I just bought an ipod a month ago. I originally bought one for my wife so she could down load Spanish learning tapes on it. She's trying to become a bilingual certified teacher in public school. I like the thing so much I bought myself one. So far, I listen to whole albums and play lists. I recently downloaded ZZ Top, The Who Live At Leeds, and Bruce Springsteen The Essentials. Sometimes at night I go out on my porch with a big bowl of ice cream, set the ipod to a particular artist and go.
