I am a United Methodist minister living somewhere in the Lone Star state. I received a B.A. in History from Texas Tech University and a Master's Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. I am a frustrated politician wanna be. Therefore, I will use this weblog to comment on culture, politics, and religion through a historical and theological frame of reference. I am not a counselor and from time time to time I will make comments that may divide a church. This weblog is a hobby and not related to my ministerial duties.
